Global Education Services, through its extensive global network of universities, agencies and academic partners, has created a significant ability to assist universities, both foreign and domestic, in developing a successful network of study abroad and exchange partners. GES works with both U.S.-based schools to send their students overseas and with non-U.S. schools to create productive linkages to recruit students. We also assist overseas universities in developing successful study abroad products and services that will be competitive in the North American marketplace.
GES can assist in establishing exchange links between foreign and U.S. universities. Our exchange programs focus on a broad range of institutional goals. These include dual-degree programs, academic articulations and developing bi-national academic programs for both U.S. and international students.
GES also develops strategies to recruit students for U.S. and foreign universities, creating study abroad opportunities for American and international students. We work with overseas institutions to form long-term relationships centered on these exchanges and to develop cooperative "field schools." These field schools would both bring students to U.S. institutions for short-term special study abroad programs, as well as create opportunities for U.S. students to study abroad. Field schools are wholly technical in nature and do not usually entail language components.
