Current Academic Partnerships

Global Education Services, through years of experience, has established a wide range of excellent university and college campus partnerships. It is our goal at Global Education Services to help these institutions establish strong international agendas, and our short-term programs are the first step to doing this.

Our main training and study locations are:

  1. University of Ballarat, Ballarat, Victoria, Australia (near Melbourne)
    The University of Ballarat is located in the Historical town of Ballarat, Australia. Ballarat is not only the gold rush capital of Australia, it is also the historic scene of Australia's independence movement at the gold mines. University of Ballarat has 5 campuses and offers a supremely enjoyable site for short-term programs.
  2. Benedictine University near Chicago, Illinois
    BU offers students the comfort of a small and intimate campus located in an upper-class, safe community not far from the cosmopolitan city of Chicago. Students who study at BU have the use of the university's athletic center, including an indoor basketball court and running track. Convenient trains can take eager students into the city within an hour.
  3. Reed College, Portland, Oregon
    Reed College is one of the United States premier liberal arts universities. Located in the beautiful city of Portland, Oregon, Reed has one of the most beautiful campus and facilities profiles in the Northwest. Reed College is a small and extremely safe learning environment for international students.
  4. Seattle Pacific University, Seattle, Washington
    Seattle Pacific University, located at the foot of Queen Anne Hill in Seattle, is one of the oldest universities in the Northwest. SPU is a small Christian liberal arts university of outstanding reputation. This university offers students a safe learning environment with a long history of international programs. SPU offers comprehensive student services, newly redesigned food facilities and a totally updated library. The living and study facilities are among the best.
  5. Seattle University, Seattle, Washington
    One of Seattle's pre-eminent universities. As a potential summer short-term study site, Seattle University offers an urban environment with all its conveniences. SU is a Jesuit university with excellent dormitory and other student facilities.
  6. Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, British Columbia
    Located in the beautiful Burnaby Mountains, only minutes away from the exciting and international city of Vancouver, British Columbia. The campus is conveniently located on most major bus routes into the city. Furthermore, the international department at SFU is friendly and more than happy to assist our international groups whenever possible.
  7. Skagit Valley Community College, Mt. Vernon, Washington
    Skagit Valley College is one of the Washington State community colleges. It is located just south of the Canadian border and about one hour north of Seattle. The campus is located in the rural community of Mt. Vernon. Skagit Valley College also offers campus sites on the beautiful San Juan Islands. These locations offer students one of the most spectacular and enjoyable summer short-term program study sites anywhere in the United States.

Here is an example of how our partnerships can work:

We market to a university in Japan to form a partnership with GES to provide intensive ESL and/or cultural summer programs at one of our US, Australian or Canadian university partners. The Japanese university then proceeds to recruit eligible students, and we then proceed to plan and organize the program in cooperation with the partner university's international department. This arrangement benefits all parties: the Japanese university, the university partner, GES and the participants.
